She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thielen and Emma Jacobson Thielen; her former husband Joe Hockom; her son Thomas Hockom; and her sister Margaret Ann Suckut.
She is survived by: her significant other Darrell Larsen; her sister Jeanette Lang; her daughters, Cindy Nielsen (Kurt Nielsen) and Jennifer Lyon (Richard Lyon); her grandchildren, Natalie Fedors (Matthew Fedors) and Nathan Lyon (Katie Lyon); and her great grandchildren, Emmett, Lucy, Vivienne and Colette. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
