He is survived by: his wife Carmen; his daughter Jennifer Mosholder (Jeni Engel); his son-in-law Tim Mosholder; his grandson Dylan; his pet Katsu; his siblings, Richard Engel and Viktoria Tyer Engel; and his sister-in-law Maria Estela Velarde.
