With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Christopher Pershing Dowdell of Littleton, Colorado, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on March 8, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Chris Dowdell and Gloria Dowdell; his siblings, Gloria (Terry), Brian, Kevin, Karen Winkler (Mike), Timothy and Sean; his wife Rosemary Walsh; his children, Jennifer, Christopher and Scott; and his grandchildren, Brendan, Emma, Brooklynn and Keagan.

“Rosemary and family, I was devastated when I heard about Chris. He was the "Mayor" of W Quarles Ave. Always checking on the neighbors, leading the Red Rocks 911 memorial and organizing his "guys only" bar-b-ques. He would yearly help me trim my trees to make them "feel loved." In my patio home I continue to trim my trees (I am the only one who does this) because I hear Chris whisper "you need to make your trees feel loved." My prayers for all to find comfort and peace ~ cherish your memories”
