With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rosann Safranek in Limon, Colorado, born in Great Bend, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 24, 2024 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Welsh and Catherine Welsh (Befort); and her siblings, James C. Welsh (Frank), William J. Welsh and Mary Frances Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Frank J. Safranek of Limon; her children, Frank W. of Escondido, CA and Catherine (Cate); her son-in-law Nick Dapron of Santee, CA; her siblings, Terry Welsh (Madeline) of Santa Rosa, CA, Tom Welsh (Gayle) of Estero, FL, Kevin Welsh (Polly) of Overland Park, KS and Ellen Safranek (Robert) of Limon, CO; her nieces, Angela Safranek (John Baumchen) of Canon City, CO, Carolyn Katz (Howard) of Winnetka, IL and Elizabeth Karnezis (Michael) of Chicago, IL; her nephew Robert Safranek (Melody) of Limon, CO.; and her granddaughter Emily. She is also survived by mother to her and Frank's two children.
