He is survived by: his wife Marie Palmer; his children, Don of Hugo, CO, John (Sandi) of Hugo, CO and Jo Herl (Jay) of Goodland, KS.; his grandchildren, Jase Herl (Jacee) of Ozark, MO, Jade Herl (Pat) of Fort Collins, CO, Kelsey Monnett of Goodland, KS, Erik McDaugale, Adrian McDaugale (Sam) of Karval, CO, Andy Padilla, Angie Shaw (Casey) of Fort Worth, TX, Jennie Underwood (Jody) of Pryor, OK and Randy Hale (Mary) of Richardson, TX.; his sister Dorothy Hawkins; his nephew Jim Hawkins (Tonia); and his niece Donna Eubank (Gary). He is also survived by many cousins and extended family.
