She was predeceased by: her daughter Rosemarie; her parents, Ina Chartier and George Smith; her son Billy George; and her brother-in-law Gene Thompson.
She is survived by: her brother George; her spouse O. D. Jones; her sister Rosie Thompson; her niece Beverly Thompson; her great-niece Dezray; and her great-nephew Thad. She is also survived by family; and many friends.
Peggy's mother taught her to embroider which she did for her pleasure but also to benefit many worthwhile gifts to organizations for money making efforts, such as RSVP, a beautiful quilt, and Limon United Methodist Church women's craft sale, Carla's Cluster Care a quilt, Baby Bear Hug's, and many baby quilts.
