She was predeceased by: her husband Al Hurkes; her son Dana; her parents, John Elmer Stein and Barbara Stein; and her brother Paul.
She is survived by: her children, David Hurkes of Arizona, Deb List of Colorado Springs, Diane Eussen (James) of Greeley, Dorene East (JJ) of Johnstown and Dustin Hurkes of Leadville; and her grandchildren, Michael, Craig, Christopher, Brittany, Sarah, Andrew, Sami and Makenna. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Bristol Hospice in care of Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 W 47th Ave., Greeley, CO 80634.
