She was predeceased by: her grandfather Dennis Shoemaker. She is survived by: her parents, Jennifer Shoemaker (Minard) and Mark Shoemaker; her brother Kalen Shoemaker; her fiancé PJ Ausmus; her grandparents, Valerie Shoemaker, Gary and Patricia Minard; her aunts, Myndi Minard and Mary Shoemaker; her great-grandparent Don Shoemaker; her pets, Yeti and Covey; and her niece Charlotte Ausmus. She is also survived by her grandparents and aunts, and a fiercely loyal friend.

In lieu of flowers, a foundation has been set up in her honor. Donations may be made to the Ashton Shoemaker Foundation at Alpine Bank.
