With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Victor Rodriguez of Lamar, Colorado, who passed away on January 13, 2025 at the age of 42. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Manuel Rodriguez Portillo; and his children, Alejandro Rodriguez-Mungaray and Alejandra Victoria Rodriguez-Mungaray. He is survived by: his mother Maria Isidra Arellano of Mexico; his wife Nallely Mungaray; his children, Samantha Mungaray of Lamar, CO, Shelby Rodriguez-Mungaray of Lamar, CO, Meagan Rodriguez-Mungaray of Lamar, CO and Maggie Rodriguez-Mungaray of Lamar, CO; and his siblings, Manuela Rodriguez (Jose Jaramillo), Juan Antonio Rodriguez-Rodriguez (Evangelina), Jose Francisco Rodriguez-Rodriguez, Lucia Guadalupe Rodriguez-Rodriguez, Luz Estella Rodriguez (Roberto Solis), Cristobal Rodriguez (Graciela Aranda), Manuel Rodriguez (Rosa Hernandez), Martha Silvia Rodriguez-Rodriguez and Pedro Rodriguez-Rodriguez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Peacock Funeral Home (209 S 4th St, Lamar, CO 81052). A rosary was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (600 E Parmenter St, Lamar, CO 81052). A Mass was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Victor Rodriguez Memorial fund to go towards his daughters in care of the funeral home office.
