It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vicenta Martinez of Lamar, Colorado, born in San Luis, Colorado, who passed away on September 6, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Manuel Jesus Martinez; and her parents, Benjamin Torres and Daria Moreno. She is survived by: her husband Isaias Martinez, Sr.; her children, Lidia Hu (Chester) of Seattle, Micaela Aguilera (Anthony) of Lamar, CO, Isaias Martinez, Jr. (Sonya) of Josephine, TX and Maria Austin (Rick) of Colby; and her adoptive son Oscar Cera (Atzimba) of Houston, TX.. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Vicenta to First Southern Baptist Church Mexico Missions Fund.
