It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Ann Cullen of Lamar, Colorado, born in Pueblo, Colorado, who passed away on October 24, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion James and Ruth Perry (Chasteen); her husband Ken Cullen; her brother Alan Perry; her brothers-in-law, Jim and John Cullen; and also, James Joseph and Frances Margaret Cullen II (Pittullo).

She is survived by: her sons, Brian Cullen (Tykiera) of Yuma, CO, Michael Cullen and Shanda Walker of Hugoton, KS; her granddaughters, Olivia and Grace Cullen of Yuma, CO; her sister Patricia Rogers of Pueblo, CO; her sisters-in-law, Carol Cullen of Pueblo, CO and Mary Ann Cullen of Flagstaff, AZ.; and also, Jerold Cullen (Judy) of Wichita, KS, Michael Cullen of Lawrence, KS, Pat Cullen (Pam) of North Platte, NE, Chris Cullen (Sylvia) of Pueblo, CO, Enid Kozlowski (Kevin) of Madison, FL, Mary Ann Gillig (Fred) of Kiowa, KS, Katie Homolka (Jim) of Holyrood, KS and Elizabeth Cullen of Los Angeles, CA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and friends.

Viewing was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Peacock Funeral Home (209 S 4th St, Lamar, CO 81052). A rosary was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (600 E Parmenter St, Lamar, CO 81052). A Mass was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice and/ or the Colorado Junior Rodeo Association either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
