Roy Dewbre Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Roy Dewbre of Lamar, Colorado, born in Cordell, Oklahoma, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Roy left this world on December 9, 2024 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oran Chester and Della Mae Dewbre (Martin); his wife Judith A. Dewbre; his daughter Amy Dewbre; and his siblings, T. O., Kenneth, Charlene Dewbre Barber and Patricia Dewbre Womack.
He is survived by: his children, Kara Ratzlaff (Konrad) of Lamar, CO, Brian Dewbre (Melanie) of Atlanta, GA and Ryan Dewbre (Jenyl Zimmerman) of Madison, IL; and his grandchildren, Kodiak, Payden, Anne Marie, Michael, Jasen, Owen, Jack and Ally. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Peacock Funeral Home (209 S 4th St, Lamar, CO 81052). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar High School Golf team and/or the Lamar Community College Golf team either direct or in care of the funeral home.
