He was predeceased by: his wife Angela Lucero; his children, Rita B. Lucero and James A. Lucero; his siblings, Refugio Lucero, Pauline Hernandez and Arthur Lucero; and his grandchildren, Matt Meyer and Aimee Meyer.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Angela Chairez (Julian) of Wiley, CO, Barbara Taylor (Travis) of Council Bluffs, IA, Vanessa Lucero-Banda (Sal) of Fowler, CA, Mancini Lucero of Fowler, CA, Kay Garcia of Pueblo, CO and Catherine Reyes (Jorge) of Lamar; and his friend Phyllis Faulk of Colorado Springs, CO. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
