With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Lee Vargas of Lamar, Colorado, who passed away on May 1, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Richard Lee may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raul Vargas and Helen Vargas (Castro); and his sisters, Kathy Vargas and Sally Vargas. He is survived by: his niece Monique Nelson. He is also survived by numerous cousins, other family and a host of friends.
