He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Arana and Natividad Duarte. He is survived by: his children, Dora Arana of Lamar, CO, Evangelina Martinez (Tony) of Granada, CO, Juan Arana (Julie) of Walsh, CO, Ramon Arana, Jr. of Colorado Springs, CO and Martha Gutierrez of Vilas, CO.. He is also survived by eight siblings, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.
A rosary will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Francis de Sales/Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (600 E Parmenter St, Lamar, CO 81052). A Mass will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (1009 E Maple St, Lamar, CO 81052).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
