She was predeceased by: her parents, Millard B. Helsel and Anna Helsel (Bissett); her husband Thomas Smith; her son Curtis Smith; and her siblings, Iona Hardesty, Laurence Helsel, Charlene Fry, LeVere Helsel, Donald Helsel, Clayton Helsel and George Helsel.
She is survived by: her son Roger Smith (Tonya); and her granddaughters, Jessica of Oviedo, FL and Heather Smith of Oviedo, FL. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Senior center either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
