With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melissa Sarinana- Zuniga of Lamar, Colorado, who passed away on September 3, 2023 at the age of 41. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her niece Ashlyn Smith; her grandparents, Luther, Juanita Smith and Wayne Gross; her uncles, Dean Smith and Don Gamble; and her great-aunt Nadie Lacey.
She is survived by: her parents, Elvin Smith and Sherry Smith (Gross) of Lamar, CO; her husband Jose Sarinana-Zuniga; her siblings, Tricia Thomas (Daniel) of Lampasas, TX, Lucas Smith of Lamar, CO, Amanda Smith of Lamar, CO and Tessa Balderrama (Jose) of Lamar, CO; her grandmother Sheala Erickson (Herb) of Bowman, ND.; and her aunts, Ginger Fretheim (Rick) of Bowman, ND, Cindy Gross of Dallas, TX, Barbara Gamble of Lamar, CO and Linda Bartlett of Pensacola, FL. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.
