We are sad to announce that on May 18, 2024, at the age of 74, Marvin L. Maltbie of Lamar, Colorado, born in Springfield, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Martin and Ellen Esther Maltbie (Lasley); his brother-in-law George Bearrick; and his stepdaughter Landa Eikner. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Maltbie of Lamar, CO; his children, Jason Maltbie (Lauren) of Virginia Beach, VA and Jennifer Maltbie of Lamar, CO; his stepchildren, Karen Tshimbalanga of Castle Rock, CO and Wesley Eikner (Megan) of Amarillo, TX; his grandsons, Sam Maltbie and Alec Maltbie; his stepgranddaughter Mina Tshimbalanga; and his siblings, Everett Maltbie (Evelyn), Floyd Maltbie (Bonnie), Bonnie Parker (Jack), Ervin Maltbie (Coral), Becky Bearrick, Murle Maltbie (Geneva) and Connie Shoup (Jerry). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice, Leukemia Foundation and/or the Multiple Myeloma Foundation either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
