He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosendo Martinez and Clara Martinez (Madrid); his wife Lillie Martinez; his children, Benny Barton, Buddy Barton, David Salazar and Sharon Barton; his great grandchild Yaquelin Lopez; and his siblings, Leandro Martinez, Ermino Martinez, Ralph Martinez, Celena Salazar, Emma Ray and Elsie Duran.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Morales of Lamar, CO, Carmen Judson (Rick) of Lamar, CO, Jay Salazar of Lamar, CO and Sara Santillanez of Colorado Springs, CO; and his siblings, Leroy Martinez (Nida) of Lamar, CO, Mary Alice Franco (Henry) of Denver, CO, Emelia Rubio (Roger) of Colorado Springs, CO, Rebecca Haines (Lee) of Colorado Springs, CO and Susie Pena (Manuel) of Colorado Springs, CO. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.
