Lena L. Nelson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lena L. Nelson of Lamar, Colorado, born in Las Animas, Colorado, who passed away on January 24, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Leonard and Vera Valentine Hunt (Larrew); and her brother Ron Hunt. She is survived by: her husband Raymond Nelson; her sons, Elmer Nelson (Tiffany) of Las Animas, CO, Nathan Nelson (Christina) of Lamar, CO and Kevin Nelson (Renee) of Lamar, CO; her grandchildren, Victoria Rosenberger (Bryan), Roger Nelson, Neikole Nelson (Patrick), Zane Nelson (Lena), Courtney Nelson, Eastwood Nelson and Regan Nelson; her great grandchildren, Gabriel Nelson and Sophia Rosenberger; and her sisters, Norma Ogden and Terrie Smart (Butch). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation and/or charity of one's choice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
