He was predeceased by: his parents, John Allen and Amy Catherine Burns (Trumain); and his son LJ Burns. He is survived by: his wife Diane Burns; his grandson Brynden Burns of Colorado; his great grandchild Jayeden Burns of Colorado; his stepchildren, Roy Barber of La Junta, CO and Marie Molina (Richard) of Garden City, KS; his stepgrandchildren, Caitlyn McConnaughhay (Collin) of Pueblo, CO and Jeremiah Barber (Lily) of Pueblo, CO; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Lilly, Brooklyn, Erwan and JJ; his siblings, Wayne Burns (Donna) of Las Animas, CO, Allen Burns of Las Animas, CO, Roger Burns (Helen) of Milford, NJ, Neeva Norris of Anderson, IN, KathyLynne Geary (Tim) of Springhill and Loretta Jacobs; and his daughter-in-law Denise Tenney (Tracy) of Buffalo, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.
