In the vast expanse of eternity, Joyce shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joyce farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Jenkins and Lavina Jenkins (Reid); and her husband Charles "Chuck" Surprise. She is survived by: her children, Chad Surprise of Lamar, CO, Tyce Light (Hye Jung) of Northglenn, CO and Rock Light (Sharon) of San Marcos, TX; and her grandsons, Adam of Northglenn, CO, Andrew Light of Northglenn, CO, Tyler of San Marcos, TX. and Brett Light of San Marcos, TX.. She is also survived by numerous cousins, other family and a host of friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice and or the Sage Services meals on wheels either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
