He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis C. Cook and Velma F. Cook (Boxley); his mother-in-law Trudy Coates; his siblings-in-law, Allen Piner and Beth Cook; and his son-in-law Todd Alltop.
He is survived by: his wife Gwen Cook; his daughters, Gwenda Alltop of Elizabeth and Ginnifer Mauch (Neil) of Lamar, Colorado; his grandchildren, Grace Alltop, Gretchen Alltop, Grant Mauch, Kane Mauch and Briar Mauch; his siblings, Richard "Dick" Cook of Goliad, Texas and Anna Lou Piner of Wichita, Kansas; his father-in-law Bob Coates of Wiley, Colorado; and his brother-in-law Bob Coates of Lamar, Colorado. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Valley Memorial (206 S 5th St, Lamar, CO 81052). The inurnment will be held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at the Wiley Cemetery.
