It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eileen Hartshorn of Lamar, Colorado, born in Dodge City, Kansas, who passed away on March 9, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Lewis and Nelle Mae Helmick (Raney); her husband Lloyd "Bud" Hartshorn; her stepfather John Abrams-Yinger; and her siblings, Lenora Townsend and Lewis Helmick.
She is survived by: her nieces, Norma Emler and Charlene Birchfield; her children, Loeen Irons (Kerry) of Waco, TX, John Hartshorn (Beth) of Dacona, CO, Curtis Hartshorn (Kathy) of Checotah, OK and Annelle Barrow-Sneller (Elby) of Lamar, CO; her grandchildren, Kelly Henkener (Jeff), Kyle Irons (Liz), Tyson Hartshorn (Angie), Cody Hartshorn (Sarah), Britt Gomer (Brad), Mario Garcia, Tony Garcia, Branson Hartshorn, Jaileen Turner (Colby) and Rian Barrow; and her sisters-in-law, Kay Frey of Eads, CO and Diana Ham (Bruce) of Lamar, CO. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.
