We bid farewell to Charles Whiting of Lamar, Colorado, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 27, 2024 at the age of 75. Charles touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Arlington and LaVerne Rose Whiting (Frank); and his brother Roger Whiting. He is survived by: his wife Carol Whiting; his children, Ryan Whiting of Denver, CO, Tyler Whiting (Shawn) of Indiana, Tariq Whiting of Lamar, CO and Colton Whiting of Hartman, CO; his grandchildren, Skyler Whiting and Coraline Whiting; his stepchildren, Tyler Turner of Lamar, CO, Tanya Turner of Lamar, CO and Lacey Turner of Lamar, CO; his stepgrandchildren, Saxon Turner, Alex Turner, Skyler Turner, Jensen Turner, Jaci Turner and Jaden Turner; his brother Bill Whiting (Paula) of Nebraska; and his friend Peggy Whiting of Lamar, CO. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and a host of friends.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peacock Funeral Home (209 S 4th St, Lamar, CO 81052).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
