It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Catherine Ann Buxton of Lamar, Colorado, born in Rawlins, Wyoming, who passed away on August 10, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Catherine Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Catherine Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her children, Tiffany Buxton of Lamar, CO and Chris Buxton of Lamar, CO; her grandchildren, Sierra Buxton, Blake Buxton and Cael Buxton; her great grandchild Mila Lopez of Lamar, CO.; her sister Terri Wallace-DeLaura (Vince) of Aurora, CO; and her caregiver Jo Estep. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the South East Colorado Cancer Initiative and/or the Lamar Area Hospice either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
