He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Runyan and Elda Mae Runyan; and his son Timothy Runyan. He is survived by: his daughters, Bonnie McCullough (Bob), Sylvia Bullock (Bill) and Mary Adams (Russ); his wife Fran; his daughter Sheldine; his son-in-law Kevin; his grandchildren, Chase and Jade; his niece Shonna; and his great-niece Emily. He is also survived by his siblings, sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
