Carolann Garin Benson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolann Garin Benson (Lakewood, Colorado), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 8, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Garin and Irene Garin; her husband Daniel T. Benson; her siblings, Joan DeRose (Jack), John Garin (Eleanor) and Thomas Garin; and her children, Daniel Benson (Christi) and Lori Marcello (Anthony).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Eric Benson, Amy Call (Aaron), Alphonse Marcello (Briana), Adam Benson, Danielle Aguilar (Francisco) and Nicholas Marcello; her great grandchildren, Archie Call, Capri Aguilar and Anthony Marcello; and her siblings-in-law, JoAnn Garin and Gerald Benson. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Parish (1985 Miller St, Lakewood, CO 80215). A rosary was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church (1985 Miller St, Lakewood, CO 80215). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Parish (1985 Miller St, Lakewood, CO 80215). A committal service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery (12801 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033).
