He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Eugene Sr. and Hazel McClelland Murray; his former wife Beverly Runyon Axford; his wife Karen Martin Murray; his son Michael Murray; and his siblings, Roseta Roberta Murray Tuel, Herbert James "Pat" Murray, William Arnold "Bill'Murray, Francis Lloyd "Foncie" Murray, Glen Eugene Murray Jr., Larry Ray Murray and Jerry Murray.

He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Bissell (Steve), Jackie Bishop (David) and Kathy Klein (Raymond); his grandchildren, Justin (Nakia), John, Jacob (Rebekah), Sabrina, Lance (Katrina), Jessica (Jakeb) and Michael (Rylie); and his great grandchildren, Lylah and Andrea Bishop.
