He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Meetz of Boulder, CO; his stepmother Rose Ross of Omaha, NE; and his son Timothy John Paul Ross. He is survived by: his stepfather Vernon Meetz of Boulder, CO; his siblings, Alan Ross (Cheryl) of Yuma, AZ and Robin Meetz (John Happs) of Brighton, CO; his children, Ryan Ross (Angela) of Elkhorn, NE, Amy Ross Powell (Eli) of Tega Cay, SC, Michael Ross (Courtney) of Fremont, NE and Dean Ballard of Wahoo, NE; and his grandchildren, Deb Ross and Lynne McIntosh.
