He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Charlotte; his granddaughter Catalina (William Hrabak); his children, Jacqueline, William, Bert (Mary Curry), Andaya, Kiely, Ruby, Steven (Lynne) and Maria; his grandsons, Michael and Jacob Hames; his children, Michelle (Lynn Koglin), Zachary and Joseph; his parents, Benigno Melendez Sugayan, Sr. and Catalina Salindong Andaya; and his siblings, Nellie, Ruth, Ida and Benigno. He was also cherished by his wife, five children.
In remembrance of Dr. Norberto Sugayan's life, the family suggests a charitable donation made in his name to (i) the American Kidney Foundation, which did so much for him as a dialysis patient for five years, or (ii) Trailwinds Hospice, which supported the family in the final days.
