He is survived by: his siblings, Gündoğdu and Güneș; his wife Sherry Lynne Durgin Doğruyusever; his children, Ali Aydin and Dilek; his grandsons, Finn, Evan and Lachlan; his sons-in-law, Mathew Eccles and David Kaufman; and his caregiver Marissa Prickett-Bolin.
