It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frank J. Lucero (Lafayette, Colorado), born in Monte Vista, Colorado, who passed away on July 22, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Lucero and Aggie Lucero; his grandparents, Esquiel, Manuelita Medina and Sarra Lucero; his wife Elena Sandoval-Lucero; his children, Kiko Lucero (Sabrina) and Monica Lucero; his siblings, Patsy Lowry, Sarah Chavez (Abel), Paul Lucero, Sharon Lucero-Walker (Duane), Jim Lucero (Connie) and Michael Lucero; and his primo hermano Raymond (Shorty). He was also cherished by five grandchildren; and numerous extended family.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to a scholarship fund that will be used to create an endowed scholarship in Dr. Lucero's name.
