He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ruth Cotter (Fauconnier) and James Daniel "Dan" Cotter; his wife Barbara; his daughters, Alison Schmidt (Chris) of Fort Collins, CO and Charlotte Cotter (Matthew Moseley) of Loveland; his grandson Blake Baron of Fort Collins; his siblings, Kathy Jones of Biloxi and Mark Cotter (Suzanne) of Reidsville, NC; his brother-in-law Gary Holtzman (Brooke); his nieces and nephews, Aaron Jones, Chris Cotter, Lindsey, Haley Jones, Jordan Cotter Kluttz, Olivia Cotter Martin, Shelby Holtzman and Casey Holtzman; and his grandchildren, Nancy Griffith, Neil Young, Paul Simon and Bob Dylan. He was also cherished by his family and friends, especially his grandson.
