She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine and Gonzales; her husband Dr. Dean L. Girard; and her sister Dr. Olga Eaton (Philip). She is survived by: her children, Michele Girard, Clayton Girard, Stephanie Hertzog, Denise Girard, Phillip Girard and David Girard; and her grandchildren, Joe and Gabrielle Girard. She is also survived by cousin, nephews, nieces, grand nephews and grandnieces.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Parish (518 W 3rd St, La Junta, CO 81050). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Fairview Cemetery (402 Potter Dr, La Junta, CO 81050).
