He was predeceased by: his parents, JoAnne Wait and Wesley Wait; his brother Johnny Wait; and his son Robby Wait. He is survived by: his wife Mary Guthrie-Wait; his sons, Brian Wait (Billie) and Eric Wait (Emmaleah); his siblings, Roger Wait, Mary Wait-Ayers, Carol Schwede, Ruth Russell, Viola Wait, Wanda Wait and Susan Bernal; and his grandchildren, Chloe Wait, Robby Wait, Madison Wait, Hunter Hartley, Jill Hartley and Levi Hartley. He is also survived by seven step-children, 20 step-grandchildren and fifteen step-great-grandchildren.
