She is survived by: her children, Valerie Pennington of Rocky Ford, CO, Tom Pennington of Manzanola, CO and Ted Pennington (Mary) of Yampa, CO; her son-in-law Curtis Abert of Colorado City, CO; her niece Janie Taylor of Longview, WA; her sisters-in-law, Bonnie Hopkins, Lois Pennington and Janice Pennington; her friend Fred Cortese; and her grandchildren, Danny Hiltz (Sherri), Mike Hiltz (Kate Behm), Pat Hiltz, Jenni Somers (Craig), Blake Pennington (Haley), Kristy Dubisky (Shawn), Kasey O'Halloran (Kieran), Tyler Abert (Caroline), Rylee Norris (Jeremy) and Chance Abert. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations can be made in Stella's name to Arkansas Valley Hospice.
