He was predeceased by: his parents, Enrique Aguilar and Juana Aguilar (Cordova); his siblings, Teri Zamarron, Mary Alice Martinez and Enrique Aguilar, Jr.; and his close friend George Pantoya.
He is survived by: his wife Alice; his children, Renae Aguilar (Gina) of La Junta, Angela Aguilar (Pablo Pina) of La Junta, Victor Aguilar of La Junta, Arlene Romero (Donald) of Rocky Ford, Reymundo Aguilar, Jr. of Georgia and Christina Romero (Dwayne) of La Junta; his siblings, Helen Kelly of Denver, Nicolas, Natalia Lawson of Texas, Celestina Jaramillo of Denver, Carmen Candelaio (Val) of California, Juanita Baca (Al) of Colorado Springs, Margaret Madrid of Denver and Porfirio Aguilar (Rosella) of Kansas; and his daughters, Marcella and Laura Pantoya. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers those wishing to do so may make memorial contributions to the Sangre de Cristo Hospice direct or through the funeral home.
