He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Santos Armijo; his parents, Jose Feliz Rodriguez and Maria Guadalupe Terrazas; and his siblings, Alfonso, Josie, Connie, Molly, Richard and George.
He is survived by: his siblings, Pauline Jane (Hernandez) and Jimmy Rodriguez; his stepdaughter Nancy Valdez (Darling); and his granddaughters, Anna O'Canas (Rovin) and Nicole Darling (Huang). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Due to COVID19, both Rufus and Maria will be cremated, their ashes blessed, and at a later date, a graveside service and placing of their stone will be scheduled at the Santa Clara Catholic Cemetery, in Wagon Mound, NM.
