We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2020, at the age of 58, Orlando Joseph Whatley Sr. (La Junta, Colorado) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his stepfather Fritz Abeyta; and his granddaughter Riana Sharie Whatley. He is survived by: his parents, Rosella Abeyta of La Junta and Danny Whatley Sr. of Rocky Ford; his significant other Bernice Archuleta of La Junta; his siblings, Danny Whatley Jr. (Donna) of Rocky Ford, Ruben Whatley, Sr. (Rita) of La Junta, Lorrie Trujillo (Ernie) of Pueblo, Cheryl Talmich (Tom) of Colorado Spring, Chris Whatley of La Junta, Fritzie Muniz (Ray) of La Junta, Juanita Vasquez (Julio) of La Junta, Johnny Whatley of La Junta and Juan Abeyta (Gloria) of La Junta; and his children, Orlando Joseph Whatley, Jr. of La Junta, Tania Whatley of La Junta and Sharina Whatley of Granada. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
