She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah J. Bowser (Thompson) and Lane C. Bowser; her children, DeEdra Roberts and James Karle; her grandson Derick; and her husbands, James Karle Sr. and Stanley Britton.
She is survived by: her children, Frankey Schmidt (Myron) of Ingalls, KS, Carol Chamblin (Duncan) of Manzanola, Virginia Cowell of La Junta, Patrick Peterson of Colorado Springs and Richard Karle of Colorado Springs; her stepchildren, Lisa Britton Farmer and Kenneth Britton (Annette) of Arkansas; and her sister Nancy Hancock (Bob) of Albuquerque. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Fairview Cemetery (402 Potter Dr, La Junta, CO 81050).
