She was predeceased by: her parents, Ezequiel Vigil and Mary Vigil (Montano); her stepfather Frank Fry Tafoya; her siblings, Gilbert Montano, Raymond Vigil, Johnny Vigil, Mable Raso, Jesse Castanon and Cortie Tafoya; and her daughter-in-law Patricia Ann Tafoya.
She is survived by: her husband Max Tafoya; her children, Leonardo Tafoya, Sr. (Leonarda Almos) of La Junta, Howard Tafoya, Sr. (Donna) of La Junta, Makey Tafoya (Robbie Sisneros) of La Junta and Norma Tafoya of La Junta; her grandchildren, Joshua Tafoya, Leonardo Tafoya, Jr., Leann Veneklasen, Fahleena Tafoya, Howard Tafoya, Jr., Tanya Tafoya, Ashley Sisneros and Lucas Sisneros; her sisters, Dorothy Soto and Irene Garcia (Benji); and her godchildren, Robert Tafoya (Bobby) and Loretta Nielsen. She is also survived by twenty-two great-grandchildren.
