It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margarita Salazar (La Junta, Colorado), who passed away on March 31, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Guadalupe Duarte and Delfina Duarte; her granddaughter Phenia Martinez; and her brothers, Jimmy and Trinidad Duarte.
She is survived by: her husband Tony Edward Salazar of Las Animas; and her children, Susan Martinez of Cut Off, LeAnn Ruck (Keith) of Grand Junction, Pricilla Martinez (Percy) of Pueblo, Jesse Martinez of Lamar, Valerie Martinez-Jordon (Shelton) of Thibodaux and Abram Martinez of Colorado Springs. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and 6 sisters and 2 brothers.
