It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Manuel Romero Jr. (La Junta, Colorado), who passed away on March 18, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Laboria Romero and Manuel Romero Sr.; and his siblings, Andrea, Cora, Ursula, Mary, Eva and Joe.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Romero; his children, Anthony Romero (Julie), Manuel Romero III (Kim) and Christine Lucero; his grandchildren, Makaela, Aaliyah, Mateo, Thomas, Krista, Travis and Izaya; his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Jaxon, Breah, Landon, Caydn and Anthony; his sister Lucy Baca; and his brothers-in-law, Rudy Sipmefski (Melenda) and Robert Sipmefski (Carrie). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
