It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorna Mayme Jenkins (La Junta, Colorado), born in Rocky Ford, Colorado, who passed away on September 25, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Bond and Loie Bond (Beer); her spouse Kenneth Jenkins; and her grandchildren, Christa Doak and Michael Schneider.
She is survived by: her children, Helen Dutro (Bill), Glenda Schneider (Mark) and Kent Jenkins; her grandchildren, Carrie Archer (Rob) of Ardmore, OK and Kelly Schneider of Greeley; and her great grandchildren, Gunnar, Lilly and Colton.
In lieu of flowers those wishing to do so may make memorial contributions to the Arkansas Valley Hospice, PO Box 408, La Junta, CO 81050 or the Casa Del Sol Retirement Community of La Junta direct or through the funeral home.
