He is survived by: his mother Cecilia Medina (Medina); his wife Anita Perez; his children, Mark Perez (Paula), Steven Perez (Anjeanette), Matthew Perez and Brandi Velasquez; his grandchildren, Steven, Jr., Cienna, Adam, Mariana and Lucas; his godchildren, Emma DeLaGarza, Jack DeLaGarza, Elijah Whatley and Carlos Lopez; and his sister Margaret DeLaGarza (Daniel).
