He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Joe and Marion Platt (Gilbert); his wife Elizabeth Irene Dominguez; and his sister Sharon Coburn. He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Shaw (Robert) of Marietta, Georgia, Clifford Martinez (Laura) of La Junta, Troy Platt (Robyn) of Swink and Gilbert Platt (Sandra) of Longview, Washington; his grandchildren, Michael Hernandez, Angela Hernandez, Brandy Casias, Katelyn Platt, Tabitha Sebastian (Seth), Rylee Platt (KayLee), Kaymon Platt, Isabel, Kaylee and Wesley Platt; and his great grandchildren, Emily Butts, Angel Casias and Charlotte Cordova.
