He is survived by: his wife Rosalia; his children, Larry Valdez (Yolanda) of La Junta and Lorraine Valdez of La Junta; his grandchildren, Laura Nieto (Tnaus) of La Junta and Larry Manuel Valdez of La Junta; his great grandchildren, Tezakih, Traven Noah, Emiella and Tyberious Nieto; and his siblings, Josie Lovato, Paul Jacquez, Robert Valdez (Elizabeth), Henry Valdez (Pat) and Delores Encinias (Joe). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
