It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Martinez of La Junta, Colorado, born in Wiley, Colorado, who passed away on August 25, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Martinez and Conception Martinez (Ariza); his wife Mary Martinez (Florez); and his siblings, Martin Jr., Jennie, Carmen, Kathy and Frances.
He is survived by: his children, Ruby Haddock (Kevin) and Mike Martinez (Katherine); his grandchildren, Ryan Haddock (Jessica), Gonzalo Diaz (Diana), Daemary Diaz and Mia Martinez; and his great grandchildren, Riordan, Barrett "Bear", Beckett, Juliana Rose, Leo, Luchie and Alek.
