He was predeceased by: his father James W. Karle Sr.; and his sister DeEdra Kay Roberts. He is survived by: his mother Marjorie A. Karle Britton (Bowser) of La Junta; his siblings, Frankey Schmidt (Myron) of Ingalls, KS, Carol Chamblin (Duncan) of Manzanola, Virginia Cowell of La Junta, Patrick Peterson of Colorado Springs and Richard Karle of Colorado Springs; and his stepsiblings, Lisa Farmer of Arkansas and Kenneth Britton (Annette) of Arkansas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in his name be made to the American Diabetes Association.
